Ballycastle

Ballycastle is a charming rural seaside town in the northern part of Co. Antrim. The town is best known for the Auld Lammas Fair, which takes place every year on the last Monday and Tuesday of August.

The town is renouned for its beach, and the distinctive view of Fair Head, the cliff which frames the local bay. Of special note are Bonamargy Friary, the ruin of a Franciscan Friary.

Ballycastle is also convenient to other North Coast attractions, such as the Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle and much more.
